47th Thanksgiving and Homecoming Dinner
Giving thanks and looking forward to next year.
On November 4, 2024, ACTS College hosted its Homecoming and Thanksgiving Dinner, a significant event that brought together alumni, students, and supporters. This memorable night of gratitude and celebration honored the past. It strengthened the college community’s present and future, making everyone feel included and valued.
A highlight of the evening was the heartfelt tribute to the late Mr Thomas Lim, a former Board member whose legacy continues to guide us, and Sister Kian, a retiring faculty member whose impact on the college community has been profound. Their years of dedicated service remind us of the difference one person can make, inspiring us to continue their legacy.
During the event, the college shared a corporate video showcasing its mission and vision, and attendees gave generously in a love offering to support the college’s future endeavors. First-year students and representatives from the Student Life Committee shared inspiring testimonies, further enriching the spirit of thankfulness.
The night concluded with a heartfelt invitation for alumni to return for next year’s gathering on March 31, 2025. Their presence is eagerly anticipated, ensuring the bonds of fellowship remain strong, and the ACTS College community continues to thrive.
46th Graduation Exercise
Rejoicing with our graduates as they head into a new chapter of their lives.
ACTS College celebrated the achievements of its 46th graduating class in a heartfelt ceremony held at Harvester Community Church on November 10, 2024. Twenty-one graduates received academic certificates, diplomas, Bachelor’s, and Master’s degrees, marking the culmination of their studies and an inspiring milestone in their lives.
This significant accomplishment is a testament to the graduates’ perseverance and dedication as they balanced their studies with various commitments and overcame numerous challenges along the way. Families, pastors, teachers, friends, and loved ones gathered to share in the joy, witness the celebration, and commemorate this special occasion.
ACTS College was honored to welcome Rev Bernard Foo as this year’s special guest speaker. He reminded the graduates of Jesus’ compassion for the lost and urged them to extend that same compassion to others, even in the face of trials and challenges in ministry. Drawing from Matthew 9:37, he encouraged them to heed God’s call to be His harvesters, for “the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.”
The ceremony also featured Student Responses from graduates Abhisek Robert Rao and Ding Mei, who shared heartfelt reflections on their journeys at ACTS College. Their testimonies highlighted how the college community prepared, supported, and shaped them to become individuals equipped for ministry.
May the graduates continue to cherish and apply the valuable lessons and experiences gained at ACTS College as they remain faithful and devoted in their service to God, following His call wherever He may lead them.
