Bethel Children Ministry Camp “God is My Master Builder”

Bro Darius Foo, Bethel Assembly of God

Through a vibrant mix of biblical teaching, creative crafts, and team-building games, 50 children gathered at the Bethel AG “God Is My Master Builder” camp from November 26 to 28, 2025 to discover how God purposefully shapes their lives and character.

Through games, we built our friendship

The recently concluded Bethel Assemblies of God Children’s Ministry camp, themed “God Is My Master Builder,” brought together about 50 energetic and enthusiastic children, half of whom were first timers to Bethel AG invited by their friends and cousins who attend Bethel Children Ministry, for an unforgettable three-day experience filled with learning, fellowship, and fun. Designed to help children understand how God shapes their lives with purpose and care, the camp succeeded in creating a vibrant atmosphere where faith and creativity came alive, and we are thankful that four of them accepted Jesus as LORD and Savior during the camp! Praise the Lord!

Never a dull moment

From the moment the children arrived, the theme was evident in every corner. The hall was decorated with colourful balloons resembling the Garden of Eden, miniature construction signs and building blocks, reminding everyone that God is the ultimate architect of our lives. This visual setup sparked excitement and curiosity right from the start, drawing the children into the heart of the theme. The camp even featured Mr Brick and Mrs Beam to help introduce the lesson of the day and explain difficult concepts so that that the children could learn effectively.

Each day began with spirited praise and worship sessions that set a joyful tone. The worship team led the children in lively songs, encouraging them to dance, sing, and celebrate the greatness of God. These sessions quickly became a highlight of the camp, uniting all the children in community and praise.

God is our Master Builder

The teaching sessions were both engaging and impactful. Using stories from the Bible—such as the Creation Event, Noah and the Ark, and Jesus teaching about wise and foolish builders—the speakers explained how God builds character, strengthens faith, and guides His children toward a meaningful life.

To reinforce these lessons, the camp included a creative craft, where each child designed a “world” illustrating their dream world symbolising that they want God to build their lives. This exercise not only helped them visualize the theme but also sparked meaningful conversations between children and their group leaders.

Learning biblical lessons from our teachers through creative presentations

Outdoor games also played a central role in the program. Team-building contests like “Build the Tallest Tower” and challenge stations taught the children valuable lessons in teamwork, patience, and trust. The laughter, cheering, and friendly competitive spirit created a warm environment that made everyone feel included.

A special highlight was the final day’s showcase, where children presented what they had learned through a presentation item. Parents and guardians were invited, turning the session into a celebration showcase and an opportunity for the parents to see what their children has experienced and learnt over the three-days camp.

Worshiping together as God’s children

Overall, the “God Is My Master Builder” camp was a remarkable success. It blended spiritual teaching, creativity, and fun in a way that deeply resonated with the children. The camp not only strengthened their understanding of God’s role as the builder of their lives but also inspired them to trust Him more fully. With its thoughtful planning and passionate team of volunteers, this camp will surely be remembered as a foundational experience for every child who attended.
