We rejoice with ACTS College on their 45th Graduation Exercise and 46th Anniversary Celebration.
45th Graduation Exercise on November 12, 2023
ACTS College held its 45th graduation exercise at Elim Church Assembly of God, where we saw 14 graduates receive their academic certificates, diplomas, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.
The graduates persevered through their various circumstances to arrive at this milestone. The sense of joy was deeply felt as friends, families, pastors, teachers, and guests came to celebrate them.
This year’s special guest speaker, Rev. Glen Lim, exhorted the graduates to be “Empowered to Engage” because “much has been given to you, and much is required of you.” He also reminded the graduates to last long in ministry by remembering their calling, placement, and task.
During the Student Response, graduate Wong Qiying shared how he was impacted by the vibrant and hospitable community in the college and graduate Jacklyn Chua expressed her gratitude for the interactions between teachers and fellow classmates. This highlighted the importance and joy of learning together in the community throughout their academic journey.
As the academic chapter closes for these graduates, we pray they continue to grow in wisdom beyond their years and serve God faithfully wherever He has called them to be!
46th Anniversary Celebration on November 6, 2023.
The 46th Anniversary of ACTS College was celebrated at the Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy. The Board of Directors, faculty, alumni, students, and college supporters gathered to celebrate and remember God’s faithfulness over the college.
Beyond partaking in the generous feast, attendees also experienced heartfelt conversations. The interactions across the generations of students from BIS (Bible Institute of Singapore), AGBC (Assemblies of God Bible College), and ACTS College were heart-warming sights to behold. Graduated alumni shared their lives and experiences with current budding students, filling the place with joy and laughter.
The dinner also saw Rev David Lim Han Hui ordained by Rev Terence Ong, adding more joy to the already joyous occasion. Together with his wife, Shufen, they were exhorted to be a “gift that keeps on giving” and to continue bearing fruit for the Kingdom of God.
While we look back at God’s faithfulness for the past 46 years, we are also grateful for all who have contributed their time, talents, and treasures to the college. We continually trust that He will do more extraordinary things in and through ACTS College. To God be all the glory!
