Elim Church’s third annual “You Are Incredi-bowl! 2025” event brought together 68 participants across four generations for a morning of bowling, fostering meaningful family connection and celebrating the “incredi-bowl” love within each family.
There were cheers, laughter, but most of all, there was love. “You Are Incredi-bowl! 2025”, a parent-child bonding event organized by Elim Church’s Family Life Ministry and now in its third edition, brought together families across all ages for two hours of bowling fun, meaningful connection, and the joy of simply being together.

This year’s event saw 68 participants, including 20 children under the age of 12, take to the lanes at Kallang Bowl on the morning of July 12, with excitement and energy. Following an opening prayer and a quick briefing, the teams got their game on! What made the morning truly special was the intergenerational mix, with up to four generations in some families coming together to bowl, cheer, and encourage one another. It was heartening to see parents and grandparents guiding the younger ones while bowling, and the hi-fives and victory punches from the children after each round brought the biggest smile to their faces. Great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, and children all stood side by side, reminding us that family is one of God’s most beautiful blessings.

To make it even more fun, medals were awarded to the top three family groups, the top three individual children, and the top two individual adults. But even those who didn’t take home medals left with full hearts and priceless memories.
“It’s our first time joining this bowling event. We are blessed and delighted that the church organised such a wonderful event for families to bond and have fun together. Hope there will be more in the future and even more families joining!” – Geoffery Kueh

“The Incredi-BOWL was a well-organised fun event filled with joy, laughter, some wins and some losses. It was wonderful to witness participation from members of all ages old and young and the joy shared amongst the families. It was the first time my wife, Maqlin, and my son, Ezekiel, got to try bowling and they were extremely thrilled and thoroughly enjoyed the event. We like to thank Elim Church for this fun family bonding opportunity.” – Theophilus Daniel

At its core, an event like this reminds us that every family is made up of people with their own unique strengths and stories. Each one is “incredible” in their own way, not because they bowl perfectly but because of the love and connection they share.

We are glad that through this event, God gave us parents the opportunity to bond with our children, fellowship with one another, and to have fun! We look forward with joy to the next opportunity to gather as a church family. Until then, let’s keep celebrating the incredible gift of each other by cheering one another on, showing up for one another, and staying close across generations. Because in the family of God, every pin and frame counts, and no one bowls alone.
