AG Ministers Came Together in Prayer with APCCS Ministers

By Ps Jason Ting, Centre of New Life

Ministers from across the city unite in prayer to intercede for our nation.

What a joy it was on August 7, 2025, to join hands with other ministers in APCCS (Alliance of Pentecostal & Charismatic Churches of Singapore) to pray for our nation! Two days before SG60, pastors and leaders gathered to acknowledge, celebrate, and intercede for a deeper work of God in Singapore. Our prayer was that we would not only achieve economic and social success but fulfill God’s destiny for us as a nation.

We began with a powerful time of praise and worship, adoring God our Father and His Son Jesus, who rules and reigns over all creation. The Ancient of Days who is worthy of all glory, honor, and power — and on this foundation of worship, Ps Yang Tuck Yoong invited us to be filled afresh with the Holy Spirit, and especially with the Spirit of intercession for Singapore.

Together we interceded in these key postures:

1. Modeling Generosity
Ps Pacer Tan reminded us from 2 Corinthians that those who sow generously will also reap generously. Generosity, he shared, begins with us as pastors and leaders, and then flows into our churches. His own story of gathering a few to pray three years ago showed how God can use small acts to unite His people — and we prayed for that same Barnabas spirit of giving and sowing.

2. Sending Laborers
We remembered God’s calling for Singapore as the “Antioch of Asia,” first declared at the 1978 Billy Graham Crusade, and prayed for God to expand our hearts and raise laborers willing to go to the nations with His gospel.

3. Upholding Righteousness
Just as Barnabas was known for his integrity, we prayed that Christians across every industry would live for what is right in God’s eyes. As Jeremiah 18 reminds us, when we seek the welfare of the nation, the church too will flourish.

Joining hearts and minds to pray.

After this, intercession continued in smaller groups of three and four. We also prayed for the peace of Israel. The event closed as we prayed for one another as ministers and for our churches.

It was a beautiful time of unity — AG ministers joining with other Spirit-led ministers across APCSS to intercede for Singapore. May we continue to be filled with the Spirit, overflowing with the anointing of intercession, until God’s destiny is fulfilled in Singapore.

Praying for one another and our churches.
