2024 Tis the Season to be Jolly – Christmas Carnival at Whampoa

A time to spread smiles and joy.
ICS and Faith Assembly of God Church have been praying for opportunities to impact more families in Whampoa and to strengthen our relationships with our community leaders. God answered our prayers this Christmas!
A Different Christmas
Working together with our partners, Whampoa Community Development and Welfare Fund (WCDWF) and SAFRA Toa Payoh, ICS organized a Christmas carnival on December 22, 2024, for 150 students and their families. Our Guest-of-Honor, Mr Heng Chee How, Senior Minister of State for Defense and Member of Parliament for Jalan Besar GRC, graced the event. Every student had their wish gift fulfilled through “Gift for a Reason.” The sponsors made efforts to buy the “best” gift requested by the students. The smiles and joy on the students’ faces tell it all!
The festive mood was amplified by laughter and joy as families and volunteers interacted through the games and food. The most special moment was the Christmas caroling and skit, reminding everyone Christmas is a time to love our family, friends and community.
Joy in Connectedness
Some 120 volunteers from Faith Assembly, SAFRA Toa Payoh, WCDWF and Eternal Life Baptist Church took part in this carnival. There is great joy working together for the goals of engaging people and empowering families. ICS aims to be a shining star for Christ this Christmas and beyond.
