Assemblies of God (AG) Singapore AGM 2025 – To the Other Side: Aligning for a Greater Tomorrow

By Ps Navin Ong, Centre of New Life

On May 29, 2025, Assemblies of God ministers gathered at Trinity@Paya Lebar—not merely for annual business but to prophetically align with heaven’s advancing call. This year’s AGM pulsed with urgency, vision, and a renewed challenge:

“Let us go over to the other side.”

Rev Dominic Yeo opened the gathering with a prophetic devotion

A Devotional Clarion Call: From Presence to Purpose

Rev Dominic Yeo opened the gathering with a prophetic devotion from Mark 4:35–41. His challenge was unmistakable:

“You can be around Jesus and still not move with Him. You can be a pastor and not walk in His mandate.”

Drawing from Jesus’ command to cross to the other side, he exposed the danger of being spiritually passive.

“The most dangerous people in the church today are the ‘yet nots’—present in the boat, but not aligned with God’s purpose.”

His plea: don’t just serve in ministry. Move with Christ toward kingdom expansion.

United as one for kingdom expansion

MM33 Rearticulated: Seven Thrusts for a Global Agenda

As Global Chair of MM33, Rev Dominic reminded the Fellowship that this is not someone else’s mandate—it is ours.

“God has placed Singapore in a position of global spiritual visibility. MM33 isn’t just about numbers—it’s a prophetic movement.”

He laid out seven core thrusts that every AG church must embrace:

  1. Healthy Churches
“The seed of the Word is always good. Growth depends on the soil. It’s time we shape environments where life flourishes.”
  2. A Praying Church
“Jesus said, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer.’ Our goal is a global canopy of intercession from one million churches.”
  3. Evangelistic Intensity
“If your church spends 50 weeks a year celebrating itself but no one comes to Christ—something’s wrong.”
  4. Discipleship Depth
“It’s not the size of your attendance that matters—it’s the size of your impact.”
  5. Next-Gen Raising and Releasing
“We’re one generation from extinction. We must reach the now, raise the next, and release them for the future.”
  6. Return to Spirit-Filled Ministry
“Let’s not become so respectable that we lose our Pentecostal identity. If we stop being Spirit-filled, we stop being AG.”
  7. Church Planting and Campus Multiplication
“There’s still ground to take. Collaborate, partner, pioneer—because every church can multiply.”
God’s Name be glorified

Building the church together

What Lies Ahead: From AGM to Apostolic Action

With doors opening across Asia and beyond, Rev Dominic urged ministers to see beyond Singapore’s size and that Singapore AG is being summoned to global significance.

He reminded all ministers present of our collective redemptive gift:

“We may not have natural resources. But we have spiritual strategy. The world is knocking—are we ready?”

So what’s next?

  • Engage MM33 – Find your church’s place in the sevenfold vision.
  • Prepare for the Minister’s Retreat (Nov 4–6) – Rebuild the core, together.
  • Strengthen the National Tapestry – You are part of something global.

Final Benediction: The Prophetic Invitation

As ministers worshipped in unity, the call still rang out: “Let us go over to the other side.” Let us not be found drifting—present but uncommitted. Let us go—fully present, fully surrendered, fully aligned. For Jesus. For Singapore. For the ends of the earth.
