Elim Myanmar Christian Family (EMCF) Power Encounter 2026
By EMFC, Elim Church

The annual EMCF Power Encounter achieved historic significance this year-2026, serving as a powerful marker of revival as God’s presence swept through the congregation. Hosted by the Elim Myanmar Christian Family (EMCF)—a thriving ministry under Elim Church Assembly of God in Singapore—this supernatural gathering took place over two powerful days (Feb 17-18, 2026) during the Chinese New Year holiday. Members utilized their festive break to gather with a deep hunger for a fresh touch from heaven. The special guest speaker, Rev Dr Aye Min, General Superintendent of the General Council of the Assemblies of God of Myanmar, anchored the event across three intensive sessions per day, creating a highly focused environment for deep spiritual transformation.

Living in the Reality of God’s Presence
Across the six sessions, Rev Dr Aye Min’s messages cut straight to the heart of the Christian walk, focusing intensely on the person of the Holy Spirit. He challenged the believers to move beyond religious traditions and step into a real, everyday relationship with God. He taught that God is not a distant historical figure, but a present reality who desires to walk intimately with His people through the Holy Spirit.
As he unfolded the scriptures session after session, members received a fresh understanding of how to yield to the Spirit’s promptings in their daily routines. Many arrived carrying heavy, invisible burdens—the exhaustion of working far from home, deep identity crises, and severe mental fatigue. However, as Rev. Dr. Aye Min led the church into deep prayer, the weight of God’s glory descended. Long-standing walls of legalism, doubt, and spiritual dryness instantly crumbled as believers experienced a profound revelation of the Father’s close, unconditional love.

Deep Spiritual and Emotional Healings
With the clear teaching on the Holy Spirit came a tangible manifestation of God’s power, resulting in profound spiritual and emotional healings. During the intensive ministry times, the Holy Spirit gently but powerfully pastured hearts damaged by past trauma, isolation, and severe disappointment. Deep-seated bitterness, hidden anger, and long-standing emotional pain melted away under the presence of God.
Many members who felt spiritually stuck or disconnected experienced a radical restoration of their joy and passion for the Lord. Chunky chains of guilt, shame, and condemnation were permanently broken. Believers testified that their spiritual sight was renewed, replacing feelings of abandonment with a supernatural peace and a secure assurance of their identity in Christ. This inner liberation allowed members to truly forgive past hurts and experience the freedom that comes only from the Spirit. Most notably, some believers were baptized in the Holy Spirit and began speaking in tongues from that day forward.

Lasting Fruits in Everyday Life
The true measure of this Chinese New Year encounter is the ongoing transformation visible in the everyday lives of the EMCF community. The fire ignited at the altar traveled directly back into the workplaces and homes of the members.
In the weeks following the event, testimonies of divine favor exploded among the attendees. Broken families reported miraculous reconciliations and restored peace. Christian workers returned to their jobs with a completely renewed work ethic, guided daily by a real, active relationship with the Holy Spirit. Believers now boldly share the gospel, turning their daily environments into mission fields. The EMCF community continues to walk in this momentum, unified, strong, and burning with a passion to see God’s kingdom advance across Singapore.
