Zion Full Gospel Church Camp 2026: Word Activated

By Zion Full Gospel Church

At this camp, participants experienced God’s power and a deep sense of unity.

From June 12 to 14, 2026, the family of Zion Full Gospel Church (ZFGC) crossed the causeway to gather at Novotel JB for an unforgettable Church Camp. Centered around the powerful and timely theme “Word Activated”—anchored in John 8:32 “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free”—the three-day, two-night getaway was far more than a brief respite from the busyness of Singapore life. It was a divine appointment marked by deep spiritual realignment, vibrant fellowship, and a beautiful convergence of generations.

With more than 200 participants in attendance, the atmosphere was charged with joy and expectation. This year’s camp bore a strong, intentional multigenerational representation, providing a sweet space where different age groups honored, learned from, and laughed with one another.

Intergenerational interaction brought such a sweet space of learning.

One Church, Diverse Tracks

To effectively minister to the diverse needs of the ZFGC family, the camp featured specialized tracks led by an incredible lineup of guest speakers.

The Chinese and Hokkien Congregation was deeply blessed by the ministry of Ps Raymond Tay, who brought the Word with immense power, relevance, and cultural resonance. Concurrently, the next generation was passionately looked after by Ps Flora Chew, who ministered to the children, sparking faith in their young hearts through highly engaging and creative sessions. Parents also received targeted encouragement through a special elective session on “Parenting with Grace and Truth,” helmed by Sis Serene Lim. Her practical wisdom offered invaluable anchors for families navigating modern parenting challenges.

The English Track: Moving from ‘Hearing’ to ‘Activating’

In the English track, Ps Henson Lim from Archippus Awakening delivered a series of sobering yet stirring messages that cut to the heart of what it truly means to be “Word Activated.” Drawing from Hebrews 3:7-11, Ps Henson challenged the congregation to return to the holistic Old Testament principle of Shema—which demands that we not only hear the Word, but thoroughly understand and obey it.

Ps Henson urged everyone to audit their spiritual ears, exposing four dangerous spiritual postures that block the Word from taking root in a believer’s life.

The first danger is Mindless Hearing (Matthew 15:6b-9), where individuals get so caught up in “church subculture,” traditions, and empty routines that their hearts become completely distant from true worship. This often leads to Disinterested Hearing (Matthew 13:13), a state where the heart becomes hardened, shallow, or easily distracted by the cares of the world.

Another barrier is Selective Hearing (2 Timothy 4:3-4), where believers choose only to listen to truths that align with their personal preferences, convenience, or comfort zones. Finally, Ps Henson warned against Unfruitful Hearing (James 1:22), which results in self-deception, where a person merely listens to the Word without ever translating it into active obedience.

Living Out the Revelation

The overarching call of Camp 2026 was to transition from passive consumers of the Word to active, radical disciples. Ps Henson reminded the church that true worship and the Word are entirely inseparable. When the church gains the right understanding of the Word, that right revelation will inevitably lead to right responses.

However, translating revelation into reality requires immense spiritual courage. In one of the most memorable quotes of the weekend, Ps Henson challenged the room:

“If you want to quote the Word, be prepared to live the Word.”

As the world around us becomes increasingly unpredictable, the corporate takeaway for ZFGC was clear: External conditions must not rock internal convictions.

Activated for the Future

Beyond the profound altar moments and deep scriptural teachings, Camp 2026 was packed with moments of pure fun, shared meals, and cross-generational bonding that strengthened the relational fabric of the church.

As the 200-strong contingent returned to Singapore, they did so not just as weary travelers, but as a transformed, united body of Christ. Zion Full Gospel Church has returned ready, willing, and fully Word Activated to live out the freedom of the Gospel in their families, workplaces, and communities.

We are all ready to live out “Word Activated”!
